Biography:
Prof. Vijay Sharma is Professor of Orthopaedics at Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi, where he has served since July 2015, having joined AIIMS faculty in October 2005. He completed postgraduate training in Orthopaedic Surgery from PGIMS Rohtak in 1999 and received advanced training in the UK and Germany. With over 20 years of clinical teaching experience, he has guided 15 postgraduate students and published over 155 papers in reputed journals, including The Lancet and BMJ. He has presented at 160 conferences, conducted 6 international cadaveric courses, and organised eight conferences. He leads four national and international funded research projects.
