Dear Conference Attendees

It is my finest opportunity to express my enthusiasm with you through writing a brief message of welcome to the session entitled congenital bone disorders. Firstly, as much of my work is centred on one simple rule that every long term skeletal deformity /abnormality must have an underlying causality that needs to be explored and addressed. This stems from the conviction that the vast majority of the skeletal deformities - if not all- do not occur randomly. Secondly, where many physicians fall into the pitfall of deeming a countless number of diseases idiopathic, as no clear connection has been established between the onset of the deformity and other inexplicit abnormal features that the patient or their immediate families or relatives carry, my work focuses on uncovering and emphasizing these connections, and reiterating the fundamental rule that etiological understanding is paramount to successful management and treatment.

Conference Attendees pleasure to welcome you to attend Ortho 2026

Dear Conference Attendees, It is my great pleasure to welcome you to attend the session entitled “Is My Non-Operative Practice OK?” Currently there are no tools worldwide to evaluate non-operative patient satisfaction as a whole in the surgical sphere. Patients sometimes express dissatisfaction with their care despite a technically “perfect” operative or non-operative outcome. Our goal with the "IMNOPOK" (Is My Non-Operative Practice OK?) PROM is to help guide surgical clinicians of all surgical specialities in improving their patient interactions in an outpatient setting by providing them with a validated, reproducible scoring system. We hope that this will allow clinicians to identify areas of need within their practice, and then to perform subsequent, validated audits to ensure that any of the actions undertaken to ament these issues have been effective.

Dear Friends and Colleagues

It is with great pleasure to welcome you to the 2026 World Orthopedics conference. Probably somewhat the odd man out being a neurosurgeon, I will present a keynote on a another cause of radicular complaints, essential in the differential diagnosis of low back pain and radicular signs in cases of spinal stenosis and herniated discs. Our research group published several studies on this topic, sometimes raising more questions than answers. I invite you to join me in my presentation of our the scientific journey we took from Tarlov cyst to small fiber neuropathy and the difficulty in differentiating coincidental findings from symptomatic cysts. As I read through the other abstracts I can assure you the meeting programme is truly educational and most certainly worthy of your presence. I hope to meet you all in London!

Greetings and welcome to the World Orthopedics 2024 conference

Dear participants and colleagues of the conference. It is a great honor and, at the same time, responsibility for me to be not only a participant of this conference, but also to give a keynote presentation in the section Orthopedic Trauma. In recent years, progress in the development of our specialty is evident and is primarily related to the implementation of new technologies in daily practice. These include artificial intelligence, computerized technologies for preoperative planning and execution of surgeries, and many other innovations. Nevertheless, the success in treating our patients has been and continues to be based on the fundamental principles of fracture treatment. They are based on adherence to the basic principles of management of musculoskeletal injuries, which comprise a balance between the biological and mechanical components of osteosynthesis. I believe that exactly these principles will lie at the heart of our presentations.

Dear friends, communication between colleagues is a prerequisite for professional development. This communication is especially useful when we share our experience with colleagues from other countries, continents, and surgical schools. The World Orthopedic Conference gives us this unique opportunity. I wish you all a productive participation in the conference, which will result in the improvement of your professional expertise and the quality of treatment of your patients.
