Biography:
Dr. Enes Oğuzhan Alkan graduated from Bezmialem Faculty of Medicine and currently working in the Orthopedics Department at Bagcilar Training and Research Hospital in Turkey. His research interests focus on orthopedic infections, biomaterials, and drug delivery systems. He particularly interested in developing innovative antibacterial membranes for preventing prosthetic infections and improving local antibiotic delivery. Through his work, he is aiming to contribute to advancements in orthopedic surgery by integrating biomedical engineering approaches into clinical practice. He also participated in the 33rd National Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Congress, held from November 5-10, 2024, where he had the opportunity to engage with experts in the field and further expand my knowledge in orthopedic research and clinical applications.
