Biography:
Professor Nimrod Rozen is a distinguished Israeli physician specializing in orthopedics, having received his medical degree and Ph.D. from the Technion. He furthered his expertise by completing a subspecialty in complex trauma fractures at St. George's Hospital in London and the University of Toronto. Rozen is a widely recognized researcher in orthopedics, with over 90 published papers and a specific interest in non-healing fractures and bone regeneration models. In 2004, Rozen founded the Research Institute for Bone Repair at the Rambam Health Care Campus and established the Institute for Bone Repair at the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, where he currently serves as a Clinical Associate Professor. He has also held various leadership positions at multiple medical centers in Israel, including serving as the Head of the Orthopedic and Traumatology Department at Zvulun Medical Center from 2005 to 2015, as well as the Head of the Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Division at Ha'Emek Medical Center since 2006. Currently, Prof. Rozen also serves as the President of the Israeli Association of Orthopedics.
