Biography:
Pharyn Ashton is a medical student at the University of Birmingham. She is currently intercalating on the MSc Extreme Medicine course at the University of Exeter for the 2025/26 academic year. Her academic interests include anesthetics, sports and exercise medicine, orthopaedics and research in high-performance and austere environments. This project was completed alongside other third year medical students at the University of Birmingham as part of the Health Improvement Evidence Review Module under the supervision of Professor Lee Aiyegbusi.
