Biography:
Dr. Tsegalem Birlie obtained his medical degree from Haramaya University in Ethiopia in December 2016. Following graduation, he began working at Haramaya University Hospital as a general practitioner for over 18 months before pursuing specialized training in orthopedic surgery at Bahir Dar University. He completed his orthopedic residency in October 2022 and returned to Haramaya University Hospital as an orthopedic surgeon, where he is actively involved in clinical, research, and academic endeavors.
